Tell us about yourself! What should people know about you?
My main goal with my music is to spread love and positivity. I also want to tell people that it is okay to be vulnerable. That’s where my sound comes from. I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. I’m big on family and I’m big on LOVE!
How long have you been making music and what or who inspired you to do so?
I've been doing music for about ten years now. I started making music at around eighteen years old. The thing that inspired me to do so was when I heard Kendrick say “Y’all call it hip hop, I call it hypnotized”. That ultimately motivated me to jump off the porch and start doing music. Ever since I have been working on my craft so I can one day hypnotize people myself.
We are aware not everyone makes music the same. What is your creative process like?
My creative process is very free and flowing. I tend to just write how I feel or what I’m going through. I like being relatable in my music by therapeutically displaying my own struggles and how I’ve overcome them in my sound. My creativity is inspired by my need to motivate and be there for others. It’s much bigger than me.
Is there any advice you would give to upcoming artists?
WORK ON YOUR CRAFT! Be original and be yourself! Have fun with it and the rest will fall into place!
Who would you say is the best artist of all time?
Kendrick Lamar by far is the best artist of all time! No question! He has been my favorite rapper for quite some time! I also have Frank Ocean right behind him at number two. I have mad love and respect for that guy as well.
