Tell us about yourself! What should people know about you?
My name is Andrea Nicole Anderson and I was born & raised in Los Angeles, California. I am a music producer, singer, actress, professional model, fashion stylist, painter and more. Featured as a Rising Star on Voyage LA magazine and I have worked with LA Fashion Week since 2018. Recently accepted into the Academy of Dramatic Arts, I am now venturing into the music industry.
How long have you been making music and what or who inspired you to do so?
I grew up in school choir and I would post covers on Twitter during those years. Got noticed by Jhene Aiko, Big Sean and others so that’s when I decided to keep pursuing music. I started producing in 2023. I have a single on Spotify, Apple Music, etc. I started off with house music but I sing and produce all genres (jazz, rock, reggaeton, pop, etc.)
We are aware not everyone makes music the same. What is your creative process like?
My creative process is very spontaneous and passionate. I have random bursts of creativity and I just follow my heart. I try not to overthink too much and just focus on creating whatever vision I come across.
Is there any advice you would give to upcoming artists?
The advice I’d give to upcoming artists is to just do it. Even if you’re scared, nervous, doubtful, just get out your comfort zone, surprise yourself & have fun!
Who would you say is the best artist of all time?
Michael Jackson, Amy Winehouse, Kendrick Lamar, and Rihanna are definitely the best to me. Hard to pick just one.
